A workshop open to beginner yogis as well as seasoned practitioners, we’ll delve into your downward facing dog posture, releasing the areas of our bodies that tend to make Down Dog hard to access. This deep dive workshop will include anatomy tutorials that demonstrate how and why down dog can be so difficult and offer insights into how you can deepen this posture, changing the landscape of your practice. The yoga practice built into the workshop will feature forward folds of all shapes and sizes, postures that are often linked to introspection. As we discuss, learn, and practice on the first evening of daylight savings time, students will also be offered the opportunity to look inward and set intentions for themselves as we enter this season of shorter days.
What should the students expect?
Expect yoga anatomy tutorials based on the areas of our bodies needing release and strengthening for a deepend downdog, discussions around this area of your practice, time for reflection and intention setting, and an intuitive yoga sequence incorporating all of these aspects!
