Balancing Act: A workshop w/ SarahEmily!
In this Balancing Act workshop we'll combine arm balances and standing poses with binds, allowing attendees to deepen their practices in a nuanced way. We will prepare the body for a family of balances and standing poses, systematically opening the areas that need more space in order to approach each balance or standing pose in a mindful way. While this workshop will include some dynamic sequencing, moving from pose to pose, we will spend a great deal of time in held poses, encouraging the body to release tightness and tension that often hold us back from deeper yoga postures.
What to bring:
Wear clothing the offers you space and comfort to move! Bring your yoga mat and a water bottle.
What to expect:
Lots of encouragement to listen to your body as you approach challenging shapes and postures.
