In this TI-MYTT module, we'll cover the basics of asana shapes and review sanskrit names.
Join SarahEmily for a deep dive into leading folks in and out of these shapes in a meaningful way. This will include discussions on the areas of the body that need to be opened/strengthened to practice them. We'll cover pose family groupings so we can begin to see which poses allow you to target specific areas of the body. We will also discuss props and modifications for poses.

Winter solstice cleansing and manifestation rituals help celebrate the sun's rebirth and the year's shortest day. This is a time to honor the seasons and celebrate renewal as we prepare for the new year.
Balancing Act: A Workshop w/ SarahEmily!
In this Balancing Act workshop we'll combine arm balances and standing poses with binds, allowing attendees to deepen their practices in a nuanced way. We will prepare the body for a family of balances and standing poses, systematically opening the areas that need more space in order to approach each balance or standing pose in a mindful way. While this workshop will include some dynamic sequencing, moving from pose to pose, we will spend a great deal of time in held poses, encouraging the body to release tightness and tension that often hold us back from deeper yoga postures.
Restorative Yoga, Sound Bath & Reiki with Sasha Letovsky & Elle
This workshop will provide a space to get reacquainted with ourselves and regulate our breath and bodies. We will flow through guided meditation, gentle movement exploration, restorative postures, and Reiki assists with Sound Bath to encourage rest and regeneration. Consent cards will be provided to indicate your comfort with hands-on Reiki during the restorative portion. Music will be played during movement followed by a live Sound Bath. Journaling prompts will be offered to help integrate your practice. This is a choice-forwards practice and you are invited to practice in the community even if you do not choose to participate in every guided instruction. Bring a notebook, something to write with, and wear comfortable and flowy clothing.

King Dancer (Nataraj), one of the many forms of Shiva, is one of Yoga's most popular deities, however the teaching of his five actions (Pancakrtya), which have great potential in daily life, is not so widespread. In this workshop, you will be introduced to Yoga Mythology, Shiva, and the five actions of Shiva (Pancakrtya).

The Autumn Equinox is a time of year in which day and night are of equal length. It is a time of self-reflection, spiritual awareness (if applicable to personal practice), and bringing our past and future selves to the present. This workshop is comprised of 4 parts. The first is a grounding meditation and writing a gratitude list. The next to parts are the asana practice: a vinyasa flow for the light/yang and a restorative practice for the dark/yin. We'll close the practice with a guided meditation.

MOTA is building an Asana (Posture) manual!
We are looking for students who are interested in being apart of the manual. This will be a free offering and the class will consist of taking photos of a series of "like" postures.
For example, we will have a session that is just focused on Adho Muhka Svanasana (Dogward Facing Dog) Variations... another on the Virabhadrasanas (Warrior poses). Because we will be using your images in our manual and in the future for marketing, a signature of on a photo release form will be required to attend to give us permission to use your images.
Space is limited to 4 students, You will have copies of the final images for your own personal/professional use!
What is a Asana Lab?
Asana Labs are sessions that break down the anatomy and alignment of the asana. We will explore structure with props and our personal foundations to find foster longevity in our practice and physical body.

Endometriosis & Chronic Pain Affinity yoga
This is a space for endometriosis and chronically pained people to come together in community. This space is here to share stories, offer support for one another and come together to hold space for one another. During this time we will have a prompt to speak around and mini break out groups to dive deeper into conversations.
As a disclaimer, this is not a formal support group. We want to offer space to come together but to be mindful of the individual capacities we all have to care for one another. We will start the session with community guidelines and introductions then move into our storytelling & community time.
If you find you need further support around mental health or are experiencing severe life threatening pain, please be sure to connect with a mental health professional to make sure you are getting the support you need.
The Power of Touch: 4 Week Program w/ Monia
Join Monia for a 4 week program on The Power of Touch. During this program we will spend each session learning how to give safe and accessibly yoga assists. We will learn the foundational mechanics of the body, so that you can begin to build on basics in your practice.
Expect to work with a partner, to have fun and be playful with your findings. Although touch is a big part of yoga assisting, there are other ways to offer assists if touch doesn’t feel quite right for you!
