Weekend Pass: Home Practice
Join Sophie & Monia for a weekend of the 50 hour Trauma Informed Personal Practice training. A home practice is one of the many tools you can use to self regulate your nervous system. During this weekend, you will invited to develop a deeper understanding of meeting yourself where you are at. We will break down how to put together foundational asanas (Yoga postures) to piece together small home practices that feel intuitive to your body. We will incorporate the use of props, different lineages of the Yoga practice & other ways can support you in your practices by yourself or with others.
Weekend Pass: Choice Making
Join Sophie & Monia for a weekend of the 50 hour Trauma Informed Personal Practice training. During this weekend we will break down the value of agency and self advocacy. Choice making is a tool you can use with your personal practice & guiding others. We will look into deepen the practice of Svādhyāya (self-study) and begin to explore ways to create safer practices in public group classes & community spaces. Not only in the wellness world but within your daily life. These practices are the foundations to paving the way for your self expression, autonomy & empowerment.
TI-MYTT MODULE: Functional Biomechanics for a Healthy Yoga Practice: Chronic Pain & Injuries

Do you find yourself unmotivated to attend a yoga class because of a pain episode, injury or a random ache? Not because you don’t want to go but because you have some trouble modifying your practice to support what your body needs? Do you know how to modify a downward facing dog to help with a back or wrist injury? What about lunges with an achy ankle or toe?
During this module, we will break down common injuries and pains in the body that regularly show up for us humans. Learn ways to use props and adjusted postures to guide the body into movement shapes that support all of the bodily functions and experiences.

250 Hour Self-Paced, Module-Based Trauma-Inclusive MOTA Yoga Teacher Training.
What to expect:
Expect to learn foundational anatomy relationships to build dynamic movements within sequencing and personal practices.
Learn about common injuries that may come up in your own body and your students.
Develop language that supports all ranges of movement in all bodies.
TI-MYTT MODULE: MOTA Flow Asana & Movement Laboratory
Join Roberto Lim, Claire Metrick & Bre Marie Meagher in the in the Beginners Yoga workshop!
You will dive deeper into the foundations and alignment to improve your poses with posture labs, hands on cueing and assessment as well as learning how to analyze poses on others bodies.
These modules will be released on a rolling basis. You can take any module that interests you but no more than twice. Each module is 5 hours long and will help you develop your personal practice and teaching style.
This module will count towards Continuing Education for the 250 Hour Self-Paced, Module-Based Trauma-Informed MOTA Yoga Teacher Training.
