The ⁠mentorship is where you get to nerd out and continue to lean into your passions to figure out your niche when it comes to teaching and living your yoga.

Our teacher training is self-paced and module-based. Which means you can start wherever you’d like within this program. There is no requirement to do this training in any specific order. With a two year timeline, you have the space to move through this at your own pace. Start with this module and roll right into the 50h which will begin in February 2024.

We are looking for students who are interested in being apart of the manual. This will be a free offering and the class will consist of taking photos of a series of "like" postures.

For example, we will have a session that is just focused on Adho Muhka Svanasana (Dogward Facing Dog) Variations... another on the Virabhadrasanas (Warrior poses). Because we will be using your images in our manual and in the future for marketing, a signature of on a photo release form will be required to attend to give us permission to use your images.

Space is limited to 4 students, You will have copies of the final images for your own personal/professional use!

What is a Asana Lab?

Asana Labs are sessions that break down the anatomy and alignment of the asana. We will explore structure with props and our personal foundations to find foster longevity in our practice and physical body.

Dive deeper into your Yoga practice with Roberto and Sophie who will introduce you to your energetic body and guide you in a meditation practice to cultivate greater presence and inner awareness. Meditation is a keystone in the inner practices of Yoga. Bring your yoga mat and wear loose clothing for a short movement practice to prepare your spine and lower body, and your curiosity as there will be time for discussion. Students of all levels are welcome.

The Inner Dimensions of Yoga: A Deeper Dive into the Yogic Energy Body & Meditation w/ Roberto Lim & Sophie

With consistency, meditation can bring inner peace & may open new doorways.

Dive deeper into your Yoga practice & studies with Roberto and Sophie. They will introduce you to: Yogic models of the energetic body; teachings on meditation & their sources; a preparatory pranayama (breathing practice) for meditation; a look into the decontextualization of mindfulness in the West & a trauma informed meditation practice to cultivate greater presence & inner awareness.

  • This rate is for people who identify as BIPOC or trans. At the moment we currently do not have anyone on staff that identifies as trans but we would like to help create spaces for wellness and education for the trans community.

    The rate for this community is designed to support those who typically don’t have access or feel welcome in wellness spaces. If you’re able to pay more, you have the option to do so at checkout but if this rate aligns with your accessibility, please choose at your discretion.

  • This rate is our standard rate which sustains our offering for our community. This rate allows us to support our teachers so that they can continue their self studies (Svādhyāya) and education to guide y’all into your wellness education journey.

  • This rate is for those who have the ability to pay more to support the BIPOC & Trans communities, as well as our teaching staff. This rate allows us to offer as many resources as we can to promote longevity in education for our students but also sustain the financial livelihood of MOTA.

Join Sophie & Monia for a weekend of the 50 hour Trauma Informed Personal Practice training. A home practice is one of the many tools you can use to self regulate your nervous system. During this weekend, you will invited to develop a deeper understanding of meeting yourself where you are at. We will break down how to put together foundational asanas (Yoga postures) to piece together small home practices that feel intuitive to your body.
